Hands High - Strength In Numbers
Illustration created for the National Design Centre and their 4th Australian Poster Annual. The theme had to relate to the phrase ‘Strength In Numbers’ and be suitable for use as an A0 poster. Again I find myself using purple and pink, I seem to have a current ‘thing’ for these colours. See the complete illustration by clicking through below.
Tooheys Extra Dry Ted 696 Project
Created for the Tooheys Extra Dry Ted 696 Project. The proposal was simple, to create an illustration that could be printed onto brown paper bags. The only guideline was that 696 must appear within the composition. My idea followed no set concept rather it was a composition of thoughts and ideas that were conjured up whilst working with the number 696. It was an enjoyable way to create. Enso Mini Book
The Enso ‘Mini Book’ was created as a 12 page promotional piece that could be given and sent out to potential clients and friends. It comes with a corresponding envelope that compliments the book nicely and which was also printed in two of the three brand pms colours. Click through below to see the envelope design and some larger examples of the illustrations which were modified slightly to be used as screen desktops for the studio.
Noise Ads 4 Artists
Created for Noise and their Ads 4 Artists campaign, the banner is used to promote both their website and the artist.
Monster Type Logotype
Monster Type is the name of my personal type foundry, under which all my typographic works sit together. I felt it fitting to create a creature driven logotype using the first two letters of each word, any excuse to make a nice bit of logography.
Summer Riot - Edition Magazine Issue 3 Submission
Completed for Edition Magazine. A not for profit group of people that enjoy illustration and design driven work so much they go out of there way to put together a nice little book on a fairly regular basis which is driven by two colours and occasionally a theme word. This illustration was completed and submitted for there latest upcoming issue based around the theme summer. Whether it is used or not at this point I’m unsure as only a select few make it into each issue. You can visit their site and buy the previous issues at there website, go do it. Self initiated illustration. Constructed using the architecture from such countries as Russia, Persia, England and Afghanistan for inspiration.
